A case management conference (CMC) is a meeting conducted by an Employment Claims Tribunals (ECT) officer called a deputy registrar or assistant registrar, together with the parties involved in the case.
You will receive a notification via email 3 days before and via SMS 1 day before your CMC.
Attendance at the CMC is compulsory. If you are unable to attend your CMC on the given date, you may request to change your court date on the Community Justice and Tribunals System (CJTS), subject to the approval of the ECT.

The registrar will manage the case and give the parties an opportunity to resolve their dispute. If you are able to reach a settlement for some or all of the matters in dispute during the CMC, the registrar will record a consent order to reflect the agreement.
Orders made by a tribunal (including consent orders) may be enforced in the same manner as a judgment or an order made by a District Court. A copy of the consent order will be made available online in CJTS.
When the registrar is satisfied that all parties have their documents in order and are ready for a hearing, a date for a hearing before a tribunal magistrate will be scheduled.
