District Judge Justin Yeo
Executive Director (Designate), Singapore Judicial College

Judge Justin Yeo is the Executive Director (Designate) of the Singapore Judicial College.

He graduated as the valedictorian of his class in the National University of Singapore, with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours). He obtained a Master of Laws from Harvard University.

He commenced his career in 2010 as Justices’ Law Clerk to the Supreme Court bench, and was appointed Senior Justices’ Law Clerk in 2011. He was appointed Assistant Registrar of the Supreme Court in 2012, and was one of the pioneering registrars of the Singapore International Commercial Court when it was established in 2015. He was appointed Deputy Divisional Registrar of the Court of Appeal in 2019, and Deputy Divisional Registrar of the Appellate Division of the High Court when the Appellate Division was established in 2021. In addition to his present role in the College, he also presides over criminal matters in the State Courts as a District Judge of the Republic of Singapore. 

He previously served as the Ministry of Law’s Counsel for Parliamentary Affairs, as well as a legal policy officer in that Ministry. He undertook a stint as adjunct faculty member of the Singapore Management University School of Law, where he was awarded the “Most Outstanding Adjunct” in 2012. He is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
