As announced at the Opening of the Legal Year 2025, the SJC launched its "International Fellow" and Resident Fellow" schemes in 2025. Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon stated that:

The "International Fellow" scheme engages the expertise of pre-eminent jurists to develop and enrich judicial education under the College's auspices. The "Resident Fellow" scheme complements this by drawing upon the wealth of experience of our retired and senior judges.
