Covid-19 advisory: State Courts’ operations during phase 3 (heightened alert)

In response to the COVID-19 Phase 3 (Heightened Alert) announcement, the State Courts' operations from 21 June will be as follows:

Hearings and counter services

There is no change to the approach taken during the Phase 2 (Heightened Alert). Hearings in the State Courts will continue to be conducted using remote communications technology, where possible and appropriate. The Central Registry counter services and Business Centre will remain open.

Court users and members of the public are strongly encouraged to access the online services available on the State Courts website or the case management systems (ICMS, eLitigation and CJTS), call or write to us instead of making a trip to the State Courts.

Public facilities for court users

The café will resume dine-in service for group sizes of up to 2 persons.

Dine-in service in the café is subject to the prevailing safe management measures.

The library will resume operations from 8.30am to 12.30pm (Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays). Only 20 persons will be allowed at any time.

The Heritage Gallery remains closed.
