Empirical Judicial Research

The Singapore Judicial College thanks all researchers who submitted proposals for this year's scheme. In 2026, we have accepted two submissions and have since awarded the following proposals below: 

• Dr Leon Vincent Chan, for his proposal titled “The Best Interests of the Child from the Child’s Perspective: A Ground-Up Approach”.
  
  
• Professor Ernest Lim, Ms Tan Yu Qing, Dr Elez Ilya Akdemir, for their proposal titled “Preserving Judicial Values in an AI Age
