Issuance of the Guidelines on the Preparation and Drafting of Affidavits of Evidence-In-Chief in Civil Proceedings before the State Courts

1. These Guidelines on the Preparation and Drafting of Affidavits of Evidence-In-Chief in Civil Proceedings before the State Courts set out best practices and principles for the preparation and drafting of affidavits of evidence-in-chief (“AEICs”) used in civil proceedings before the State Courts.

2. These Guidelines apply to AEICs used in civil proceedings before the State Courts with immediate effect.
