1. The Official Opening of the Family Justice Courts Building (“FJC Building”) will take place on Wednesday, 23 July 2025.
2. On this date, the only proceedings that will be conducted at the FJC Building are:
a. proceedings at the Family Protection Centre;
b. urgent Youth Court proceedings; and
c. Duty Judge hearings.
3. Applications for Personal Protection Orders may continue to be made at the Family Protection Centre. Other applications submitted in physical form are to be made on another day where possible. Kindly approach the InfoCounter at the FJC Building for directions to the appropriate counter for the submission of any such applications. All other walk-in services (such as for the inspection or drop-off of documents) will be suspended on this date.
4. The Family Justice Courts’ case management systems, namely:
a. the Integrated Electronic Litigation System (eLitigation);
b. the Integrated Family Application Management System (iFAMS);
c. the Integrated Case Management System (ICMS);
d. the Divorce eService; and
e. the Probate eService,
will not be affected on this date. Lawyers and court users may continue to access and file documents in these case management systems.
5. Any party to proceedings with urgent queries or requests for clarification may email the Family Justice Courts Registry utilising the appropriate links provided at https://www.judiciary.gov.sg/contact-us under “Specific Family Justice Courts matters”, and include in the subject heading the relevant case details (e.g., “[Case Number][Case Name]”). Parties to proceedings may also call the general enquiry hotline at 1800 JUSTICE (1800 587 8423) or 6 JUSTICE (6587 8423).
