Amendment No. 5 of 2021

With effect from 2 August 2021, the State Courts Practice Direction will be amended by –

1. deleting Part XXII (Business-to Business Debt Claims) consisting of Practice Direction 144 (Pre-action protocol for business-to-business debt claims); and

2. deleting Appendix L (Pre-Action Protocol for Business-to-Business Debt Claims)(the “Protocol”).

Following the deletion, the Protocol will no longer apply to actions that are commenced in the State Courts from 2 August onwards.
