Amendment No. 1 of 2020

Amendment No. 1 of 2020 of the Practice Directions contains amendments to Part VII, Part XI, Part XVI and Appendix H of the Supreme Court Practice Directions. The amendments are summarised below:

1. amendments to paragraph 66 on Fixing of hearing dates, i.e introduction of new paragraph 66(5);
2. amendments to paragraph 90A on Applications in civil matters before the Court of Appeal;
3. amendments to paragraph 124(1) on Arrest of ships;
4. amendments to Appendix H, on the appointments of a Senior Assistant Registrar and two Deputy Divisional Registrars.

The amendments will take effect on 6 January 2020 and will be reflected at https://epd.supremecourt.gov.sg/ from 6 January 2020.
