New online payment options for SG Courts Users

1. Effective 1 September 2025, court users will have more convenient ways to pay court related fees, fines and deposits online.

More online payment options for court fees, fines and deposits

Court fees

2. For the payment of Court Fees, users of the e-Litigation portal who are non-subscribers (1) and those lodging manual applications with the courts, can now pay via credit card, in addition to the existing PayNow service. There is no change for court users using SG Courts’ case management systems (2) where the current credit card payment option remains.

Court fines

3. In addition to the existing PayNow service, court users will be able to pay court fines online via credit card.

Court deposits

4. For payments for court deposits (3), court users no longer need to make these payments in person at the courts. They can use a new online payment portal accessible 24/7 which accepts payments via both credit card and PayNow. For added flexibility, the PayNow option supports both payment via QR code and UEN. Please refer to the Annex A for more information on paying online for such deposits.

Please refer to the Annex B for a summary of online payment options.

Flexible payment options for court fees, fines and deposits

5. For added convenience, PayNow and credit card payments via the online payment portal allows court users to split a single payment across multiple methods. Court users do not need to consolidate funds into one bank account. They can make payments using multiple PayNow accounts and/or credit cards. Overseas-issued credit cards are also accepted. For example, to pay a court fine of $20,000, a court user can split the payment across different sources:

• PayNow from ABC Bank: $5,000
• PayNow from XYZ bank: $5,000
• Credit Card from XXX bank: $10,000

Paying in person at court premises

6. With the new online payment portal, the current payment kiosks at the State Courts will subsequently be decommissioned.  New payment terminals will be available across all three Courts to facilitate online payments for users without internet access:

Payment terminal Locations (online PayNow and Credit Card)
Supreme Court: Service Hub, Level 1.
State Courts: Levels 2 (available from 1 October 2025 onwards), 4 and 7.
Family Justice Courts: Service Hub, Level 1.

7. Manual payment options are also available for court users with no online payment means and prefer to use cash or physical cards for payment. They can access the following manual payment options:

Cashier Counters (Cash, NETS, Cheque, Cashier’s Order and Credit Card)
Supreme Court: Service Hub, Level 1.
State Courts: Level 4, outside Courtrooms (available from 1 October 2025 onwards).

Cashier counters are available during court operating hours and payment can be made at any of the cashier counters regardless of which Court issued the Payment Advice/Instruction Letter.

Please note: The cashier counter at Family Justice Courts will cease operations effective 30 September 2025. Court users requiring assistance can use the iPad located next to the payment terminal to contact Finance Officers for assistance.

Cheque Deposit Box (Cheque and Cashier’s Order)
State Courts: Level 4 (available from 1 October 2025 onwards).

Please refer to the Annex C for a summary of in-person payment options.
