Judicial Commissioner Edmund Leow completed his term as Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court

Judicial Commissioner Edmund Leow (廖学铭) will complete his term as Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court on 30 September 2016.

2. Judicial Commissioner Leow was first appointed Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court on 1 October 2013. During his tenure on the Supreme Court Bench, Judicial Commissioner Leow handled a wide range of commercial cases involving tax, corporate, banking, securities, trusts and employment law.

3. On completing his tenure, Judicial Commissioner Leow said, "It is an honour and a privilege to have served as a member of the Supreme Court Bench. I have benefitted immensely from the guidance of the Chief Justice and colleagues who have so generously shared their knowledge and experiences with me."

4. In appreciation of Judicial Commissioner Leow’s contributions to the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon said, "I thank Judicial Commissioner Leow for his dedication and contributions to the Supreme Court. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours."

5. With the completion of Judicial Commissioner Leow’s term of office, the Supreme Court will have a total 14 Judges (including the Chief Justice), 11 Judicial Commissioners, five Senior Judges and 12 International Judges.
